HOUSEKEEPING

•it’s a large group of excited people.  Help us keep it moving smoothly. We need to try to stick to the schedule in order to squeeze in all these great classes.

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING THEM ANYTHING • if you do…. Kuana is allergic to chocolate and shellfish and loves peanut butter. Robert is diabetic and loves Starbucks gift cards. Both of them very rarely drink alcohol on the road and if they do, they buy their own.

•we absolutely LOVE your husbands and kids and dogs, please leave them at home.

•we will provide bottles of water, light snacks or fruits over the course of the weekend. Please bring your own lunch Friday and Saturday. We will provide pizza for Sunday final day. Help us keep everything clean. You’re welcome to bring little treats but certainly not expected to.

•everywhere we go, we have so many wonderful people that come to share stories, connections, histories and excitement with us—especially Robert. Help us keep him in one piece. We need him! Give him a little room and be considerate of others wanting his time, too.

•this is meant to be a fun weekend to unite and reunite many of our new and old hula friends. You need a basic foundation in hula to keep up the these classes. Nobody is training for Merrie Monarch here. It’s a safe, fun and serious environment.  Both Kumu will rotate lines to give everyone an opportunity to learn from different vantage points.
